BIOGRAPHY
Eric Calvillo enters his third season with El Paso Locomotive FC.
Calvillo signed for El Paso ahead of the 2022 season from MLS’ San Jose Earthquakes after lifting the USL Championship title in 2021 on loan with Orange County SC.
He made his El Paso debut at Sacramento Republic FC on March 12, 2022 and has since become one of the club’s top leaders, captaining the side for the final third of the 2023 season and into the return to the USL Championship playoffs.
He was also the top-joint assist leader (4) in 2023. Along the way, Calvillo also had stints at Reno 1868 FC (2018-19) and New York Cosmos (2016-17).
Internationally, Calvillo has nine appearances with the El Salvador Men’s National Team, playing alongside current El Paso teammates Jeremy Garay, Amando Moreno and Joaquin Rivas.
At the youth level, Calvillo played for the U.S. U-15, U-17 and U-19s. He was a member of the U.S. roster at the 2015 U-17 World Cup alongside notable USMNT players like Christian Pulisic and Tyler Adams.
