EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC Youth Soccer was on full display at the 2024 Texas Super Cup in Dallas over Memorial Day Weekend, with 10 teams in attendance representing the Borderplex region.
“We are extremely proud of the hard work and effort put in by all our teams to demonstrate the high quality of talent that El Paso has,” Girls Head Coach Desiree Castillo said. “Texas Super Cup gave us an opportunity to challenge ourselves against some of the best teams in our state and provide our players and families a memorable competitive experience.
The young Locos faced off against some of the strongest youth teams across the state, showcasing high levels of hard work and skill within their age groups. Notable results include the 2014 Boys Blue side, who played an age group up and went undefeated on its path to lifting the championship. The 2012 Boys Blue team also clinched a spot in their division’s championship match.
Overall, it was a strong showcase for Locomotive Youth Soccer to measure itself up against tough opponents and learn from their experience in preparation for the upcoming fall season.
