EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC (West-2, 8-1-3, 25 points) secured a second consecutive win against New Mexico United at Isotopes Park on Saturday night to extend its undefeated streak to nine games with wins in the last seven.
A back and forth in the first half, Locomotive registered eight shots and held 53% of possession during the first 45 minutes of play. Defensively, Locomotive’s backline closed off many of New Mexico’s offensive pursuits, making five interceptions and winning six tackles.
