El Paso Locomotive FC and Defender Mechack Jerome have mutually agreed to part ways, the club announced today. The Haitian international departs the Sun City club after three seasons to join Indy Eleven, alongside Bryam Rebellon, as the Eastern Conference club announced earlier this afternoon.
Mechack Jerome has been an anchor in the center back position since joining the club ahead of 2019. The Haitian defender kept the opposition out of scoring opportunities while coming up big as the line last of defense with goal-line clearances. His work rate and muscle to work an attacker off the ball made him a bastion of defense over the first three seasons. Mechack made 56 appearances with 4,824 minutes across all competitions, leaving a lasting mark on the club’s history.
