BIOGRAPHY
Javier ‘Yuma’ Monsalvez enters his sixth season with El Paso Locomotive FC.
The beloved leader has led the team both on and off the field since his arrival in El Paso. He helped bring the team to back-to-back Western Conference Finals (2019, 2020) and lifted the Copa Tejas trophy in 2021 while simultaneously being a key figure for the club out in the community.
A product of the Rayo Vallecano youth academy in Madrid, Yuma made his professional debut for the Rayo senior squad in 2005. He then went on to play for several clubs across Spain and the United States before landing in West Texas.
Yuma is the last player that remains from El Paso’s inaugural 2019 squad.
